Abstract
This text provides an overview of critical scholarship published in 2021 on Tudor-era drama, prose, and poetry, highlighting renewed attention to lesser-studied figures alongside canonical authors. Key topics include the printing innovations of Wynkyn de Worde, the dialogic strategies of Christopher St German, and the confessional flexibility of Katherine Parr’s psalms. Significant research on Sir Thomas More explores his humanist writings, political thought, and reception, including studies on his *Utopia* and correspondence. The section on verse emphasizes Stephen Hawes’s poetic contributions and Alexander Barclay’s intertextuality, while scholarship on John Skelton revisits manuscript attributions. No major new research on Sir Thomas Wyatt’s original works appeared, though his portrayal in historical fiction was examined.
