Abstract
The article explores why some companies are better equipped to navigate trade wars than others, focusing on U.S. and Chinese companies affected by tariffs. Factors such as innovation, corporate social responsibility, and political ties were analyzed to determine their impact on business resilience during trade conflicts. Recommendations include prioritizing innovation, enhancing CSR practices, and exercising caution when politically entangled. The study's findings suggest that companies with stronger innovation and CSR practices were more likely to retain business, while those with political ties faced challenges. The research emphasizes the importance of diversifying supply chains and government support for innovation and CSR initiatives to enhance resilience in the face of trade wars.
