Abstract

Crowds of devotees gathered in the holy town of Anandpur Sahib in Punjab to participate in the Hola Mohalla celebrations, which coincide with the Hindu festival of Holi. Anandpur Sahib is home to the second most important Sikh shrine, and during the celebrations, Nihang Sikhs performed the Gatka martial art, which was a major attraction for visitors. The town and shrine hold historical significance as it is where Guru Gobind Singh founded the Khalsa Panth, the modern-day Sikh religion. Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit extended warm greetings on Holi and emphasized the festival's message of social harmony and goodwill. [Extracted from the article]
