Abstract
In 1969, the Stonewall Inn uprising in New York City marked a pivotal moment in the LGBTQ+ rights movement. The police raid on the popular gay bar led to protests and clashes, eventually sparking what is now considered the first Pride march. The iconic bricks from the Stonewall Inn have become symbolic artifacts, with one donated to the American LGBTQ+ Museum in 2024. The brick, likely produced by the Empire Brick and Supply Company, holds historical significance and is part of efforts to preserve LGBTQ+ heritage. [Extracted from the article]
