Abstract
The article focuses on Pachacuti, the ninth Inca monarch, who significantly expanded the Inca Empire, known as Tawantinsuyu, and established a sophisticated system of governance. Under his leadership in the early 15th century, the Inca transformed from a small kingdom centered in Cusco to a vast empire stretching from modern Ecuador to Chile, with a population of around 10 million. Pachacuti is credited with military conquests that not only secured territories but also integrated diverse cultures through strategic policies, including the promotion of the Quechua language and the accommodation of local deities. His reign marked a pivotal period in Inca history, characterized by both military prowess and administrative innovation, until his death in 1471. [Extracted from the article]
