Abstract
This article is the final Chair's Corner column from the GPSolo Division. The author expresses gratitude for the opportunity to serve in this role and reflects on the enriching experience it has been. The article then focuses on the topic of immigration law, discussing its complexity and impact on national consciousness. It highlights the historical and ongoing influence of public opinion and political ideologies on immigration policy, as well as the role of xenophobia and misinformation. The author emphasizes the importance of past advancements in immigration policy and the diverse experiences and backgrounds of Americans.
