Abstract
The article focuses on a study examining the relationship between dietary habits, specifically milk tea and takeaway food consumption, and mental health outcomes among Chinese university students. Conducted by researchers from Shangrao Normal University, the multicenter survey involved 15,440 students and found that both milk tea and takeaway food consumption were independently associated with increased risks of anxiety symptoms and comorbid depression-anxiety. Notably, the combination of high-fat, high-sugar milk tea with deep-fried or stir-fried takeaway food posed the greatest risk for these psychological symptoms. The research highlights the need for targeted dietary interventions to address mental health issues in this demographic. [Extracted from the article]
