Abstract

Microscopy and microanalysis are pervasive in various aspects of our lives, as evidenced by the abundance of resources and applications available. The field extends beyond laboratory settings, with examples including the analysis of micrometeorites to understand the origins of the universe, the use of microscopy in space through the MochiiTM scanning electron microscope on the International Space Station, and the development of the Benthic Underwater Microscope to explore the depths of the sea. Additionally, the United States Postal Service released a series of Life Magnified Forever postal stamps featuring microscopic images, making the microscopic world accessible to a wider audience.
