Abstract

The article explores how Filipino student organizations in the U.S. used The Filipino Student Bulletin from 1922 to 1939 to commemorate their shared history and identity. Topics include the role of Filipino student organizations in addressing adversity, the significance of Rizal Day and Dr. Jose Rizal's legacy in uniting Filipino students, and how examining these historical resources helps connect past celebrations with modern Filipino American cultural events.
