Abstract
Many major gift donors want to support their favorite missions well beyond their lifetimes, and planned giving enables them to do so through means such as their retirement accounts and estates. "Meet with advisors who have interacted with your organization in previous gift transactions and share your programs and opportunities for support", Smith suggests.
