Abstract

The article addresses the theological question of whether those who have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ will have a second chance for salvation after death. It examines various theological perspectives, including Calvinism, general revelation, and views on postmortem salvation, ultimately arguing that eternal salvation is only possible through faith in Jesus during one's earthly life. The author contends that those who do not hear the gospel are not open to it, and Scripture provides no example or support for belief after death. The article concludes that God provides every opportunity for those open to salvation to hear and believe in this life, and that unbelievers who die without faith will face judgment without a subsequent chance to be saved.
