Abstract
The article discusses the upcoming launch of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, which will be launched in May 2027 to a spot close to 1 million miles from Earth. The telescope will provide new observations of exoplanets, surveys of the Milky Way, and studies of dark energy. It will also focus on individual stars and their orbiting planets, using a coronagraph to block out the glare of the star and allow the planet to be seen. The telescope will be stationed at a Lagrange point to shield it from stray heat and conduct detailed surveys of the Milky Way. [Extracted from the article]
