Abstract
The article discusses a puzzle presented to Sherlock Holmes by his brother Mycroft. In the puzzle, Holmes is asked to determine the numbers on two spinners that, when used in a dice game, produce the same probabilities as two standard six-faced dice. The article also includes the solution to a previous puzzle, "The case of the Green Cane of Kabul," which involved the use of Bayes' theorem. The article concludes with an apology for a mistake made in referencing a Sherlock Holmes story. [Extracted from the article]
