Abstract
Major League Baseball (MLB) has secured new broadcast agreements with Comcast Corp.'s NBC Sports, Walt Disney Co.'s ESPN, and Netflix Inc., aligning all contracts on a three-year timeline. NBC will air Sunday night games and the wild-card playoffs, while Netflix will feature the Home Run Derby and the opening day game. ESPN retains rights to approximately 30 regular-season games and will market MLB.TV, which allows fans to watch games outside their local markets, as part of its streaming service. The ESPN deal is valued at around $550 million annually, and this agreement marks NBC's first partnership with MLB since 2000, enhancing its portfolio of major sports broadcasts.
