Abstract

World Mobile has launched an aerostat trial in Mozambique in collaboration with Vodacom Mozambique, using tethered balloons equipped with telecommunications equipment to provide internet access to underserved communities. TIM Brasil's rural internet coverage is expected to expand by 4 million hectares in 2024, allowing farmers to use precision agriculture tools and remotely monitor their machines and crops. Australian mobile data traffic increased by 31% year-on-year, with 95% of internet users using a mobile phone to go online. Additionally, nearly a third of Australian adults changed their mobile provider or plan in the past year, with the most common reason being to find a cheaper plan. [Extracted from the article]
