Abstract
The article discusses the rise of worker-to-worker organizing in recent years, where young, radicalized workers have initiated and driven high-profile strikes and union drives. Factors contributing to this rise include economic stagnation, a tight labor market, the Covid-19 pandemic, and a pro-union National Labor Relations Board. The use of social media platforms like Twitter has been effective in raising awareness and inspiring copycat campaigns. Worker-led unionization efforts have the potential to challenge management's portrayal of unions as third parties and expand the targets of unionization to include large, decentralized companies. However, these efforts still require resources and support from established unions to fulfill their potential. [Extracted from the article]
