Abstract
The article explores the intellectual and artistic connections between Y-Dang Troeung and Lorraine Hansberry by proposing a comparative teaching approach to Landbridge: Life in Fragments and To Be Young, Gifted and Black: Lorraine Hansberry in Her Own Words. It reflects on their engagements with imperialism, war, displacement, the Cambodian genocide, racial injustice, intergenerational trauma, feminist mentorship, and political storytelling.
