Abstract
Local musicians recently performed at the L. Ron Hubbard Way for a Drug-Free World Art and Music Festival, organized by the Church of Scientology Los Angeles and the local chapter of Foundation for a Drug-Free World. The event aimed to promote creativity over drug use and featured popular acoustic-pop artist Nick Isham and other local musicians. The festival also included an art gallery and food vendors. The event highlighted the drug overdose epidemic in Los Angeles County, with over 3,000 deaths reported in 2023. The Foundation for a Drug-Free World, supported by the Church of Scientology, provides free drug education and prevention materials. [Extracted from the article]
