Abstract
The article discusses the concept of "polycrisis," which refers to the interconnected global challenges such as climate change, geopolitical tensions, and threats to democracy that significantly threaten humanity's future. It emphasizes the urgent need for hope and collective action to address these crises, proposing that hope can be cultivated through educational practices that encourage students and educators to engage in generative mechanisms of hope. The author draws on theories of emotion regulation and hope to suggest that fostering a holistic worldview can empower individuals and communities to navigate these challenges effectively, ultimately leading to more sustainable and desirable futures. The article calls for a shift in management education to prioritize interdisciplinary approaches and the development of a hopeful mindset among students. [Extracted from the article]
