Abstract
The main focus of the text is an overview of three works addressing Palestinian history, activism, and the pro-Israel movement in Britain. The first discusses the destruction of Jerusalem's Maghrebi Quarter and calls on Israel for acknowledgment of legal breaches and restorative justice, including symbolic recognition of the neighborhood's history. The second examines Palestinian prison hunger strikes as a form of protest for dignity and freedom, detailing individual and mass strikes, their motivations, challenges, and outcomes, while drawing parallels with other global movements. The third analyzes the British Zionist movement's strategies to counter Palestine solidarity, highlighting its cooperation with the Israeli government, influence within political elites, and limitations in broader civil society, framing these dynamics within wider struggles between popular liberation efforts and elite power structures.
