Abstract

The article discusses the 110th anniversary of the Consulate of Mexico in Salt Lake City and its collaboration with the Observatory of the Binational Relationship between Mexico and the United States and the Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Utah. The objective of this collaboration is to study the consulate's presence and its work in safeguarding the welfare of the Mexican and Hispanic community in the region. The article also provides historical background on the presence of Hispanics in Utah, the establishment of the Mexican Consulate, and the importance of consular work in bilateral relations.
