Abstract
This article examines the authorship of Shakespeare’s *Henry V* using stylometric analysis with the R Stylo software suite, applying methods such as Rolling Delta, Rolling Classify, and the General Imposters method. The findings support Thomas Merriam’s long-standing argument that *Henry V* was co-authored by William Shakespeare and Christopher Marlowe, with evidence showing stylistic influences from Marlowe, particularly in the verse sections. While Shakespeare’s authorship dominates the prose parts, the analyses indicate that Shakespeare likely used a Marlowe pretext in composing the play. The study suggests a broader need to reconsider the authorship of apocryphal Shakespearean plays using similar computational methods.
