Abstract

This article from PC Gamer (US Edition) tells the story of a PC gaming investigator named Dick Ray-Tracing who is trying to solve a murder case. Frank, the owner of a PC gaming cafe, has been killed, and Dick suspects that it may be related to a wave of disinformation about Half-Life 3. Cora, the new owner of the cafe, reveals that her former husband, Nick, who was killed in a car crash, was involved with the Console Gamer Collective (CGC) and had asked her to marry him to infiltrate the PC gaming community. Cora claims that Frank killed Nick and made it look like an accident, but she loved Frank and had nothing to do with it. The article ends with the discovery of a mysterious letter signed with the initials "G F." [Extracted from the article]
