Abstract

The author argues that moments of metalepsis, or the crossing of narrative levels, in the works of Czech novelist Franz Kafka reveal an entanglement of only seemingly separate worlds. Topics include the search for proofs by scientists in proving the existence of multiverse, reference to the animal stories of Kafka, and reference to a work by German philosopher Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche.
