Abstract

The article presents an interview with James Vanderbilt, a filmmaker, who discusses his feature film Nuremberg about the landmark trials of Nazi leaders. Topics include the complex relationship between Hermann Göring and psychiatrist Douglas Kelley, the use of documentary footage as evidence in court, and the challenges of condensing a year-long trial into a two-hour cinematic narrative.
