Abstract

Lucía Linares, the head of strategy and institutional launches at the European Space Agency (ESA), played a crucial role in revitalizing the agency after a series of setbacks. She secured alternative launches with SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket for important projects, such as the Hera mission to the asteroid Didymos. Linares also led efforts to bring the Vega-C rocket closer to relaunch, with a successful engine test in May. Additionally, the next generation Ariane 6 rocket successfully lifted off in July. Linares's leadership and dedication were instrumental in these achievements. [Extracted from the article]
