King Charles’s ethical dilemma over looted objects.

Abstract

The article reports that King Charles will face ethical questions about artefacts that were seized during British military operations in Africa. It mentions that the Royal Collection is able to deaccession as earlier Queen Elizabeth II returned looted art material twice. It informs that during the third Anglo-Ashanti war of 1873-74 British forces destroyed the royal palace and looted the royal regalia of the Asantehene (king) Kofi Karikari in Ghana.
