Abstract
A recent study conducted by Nanchang University in Jiangxi, China, explored the impact of in-person and remote Satir family therapy on the emotions and behavior of adolescents with major depressive disorder. The study found that this therapy effectively reduced anxiety and depression levels, as well as non-suicidal self-injury behavior and problematic mobile phone use. The researchers concluded that this therapy model could be successfully applied to the outpatient management of adolescents with major depressive disorder, particularly in rural areas. This research provides valuable insights into improving the recognition and treatment of depression in adolescents. [Extracted from the article]
