Abstract
The article defends the new bridge principle that the probability of a counterfactual equals the chance of the consequent under the counterfactual supposition of the antecedent, arguing that probabilities of counterfactuals are counterfactual probabilities. Topics include the counterfactual chance thesis (CCT) as a new bridge principle, a discussion of philosopher Brian Skyrms' Thesis and its problems, and conditional chances and their incorrect identification with hypothetical chances.
