Abstract
The fourth Bangkok Art Biennale, titled "Nurture Gaia," explored themes of environmental degradation and preservation through the works of 76 artists from Thailand and around the world. The exhibition, held in 11 venues including museums and Buddhist temples, featured contemporary art alongside religious artifacts, emphasizing the interconnectedness of life and creativity. Artists addressed Buddhist notions, cultural heritage, and the human-nature relationship, offering nuanced reflections on ecological issues and global environmental activism. The exhibition aimed to inspire hope and action in the face of the growing ecological crisis, resonating with new generations committed to addressing climate change. [Extracted from the article]
