Abstract
The article examines the book "Politically Red" by Eduardo Cadava and Sara Nadal-Melsió and how it applies to philosopher Walter Benjamin's theories of historical violence and representation. Topics include the book's reading of colonial atrocities in Bartolomé de las Casas' account, its interpretation of revolutionary socialist Rosa Luxemburg's spectral presence in Benjamin's work, and the political implications of representing the unrepresentable.
