Abstract

Mary Austin, the former partner of Freddie Mercury, is selling their London residence, Garden Lodge, for £30 million. Mercury purchased the property in 1980 as a private sanctuary where he could create and work on his music away from the media. Austin inherited the house after Mercury's death in 1991 and has decided to sell it now that her children have grown up and moved out. The property, which offers eight bedrooms and retains many of Mercury's personal touches, is being listed with Knight Frank. [Extracted from the article]
