Abstract

The article features the history of the Westminster Abbey in Great Britain, particularly on why and how it was constructed. Also cited are how King Henry III's devotion to Christianity and his patron saint, Edward the Confessor led to the construction of the abbey, and the abbey's status as a coronation church.
