Abstract

Mongolia and its capital city, Ulaanbaatar, offer an extraordinary vacationing experience to American travelers. The Gobi Desert is an area dotted with traditional nomad tents, fascinating geological sights, and roaming hoofed animals. Mongolian performances include musicians playing horsehead fiddles, dancers performing with their arms alone, and entertainers “throat singing” otherworldly songs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
