Abstract
The article focuses on the anthology "Attorneys in the Baseball Hall of Fame," which explores the unique intersection of baseball and law through the biographies of 11 individuals who have achieved both a Hall of Fame-worthy baseball career and a legal qualification. Edited by retired Judge Louis H. Schiff and law professor Robert M. Jarvis, the anthology highlights the contributions of these individuals, many of whom held significant roles in baseball management and ownership, and examines how their legal training influenced their careers. The text notes the rarity of this combination in contemporary baseball, as modern players often pursue their careers directly from high school or college, making it increasingly unlikely for future players to also become lawyers.
