Abstract

The article focuses on Truman Capote's "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and examines how the protagonist's name, Holly Golightly, symbolizes her identity as a traveler always on the move, and how the name is intertwined with the author's memories of Alabama. The article analyzes the representation of space in the novel and suggests that it proposes a simultaneity of plural "souths."
