Abstract
Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez have won an arbitration case to purchase the Minnesota Timberwolves for $1.5 billion from owner Glen Taylor. The decision, made by a three-person panel of arbitrators, allows Lore and Rodriguez to move forward with the deal, pending approval from the NBA's board of governors. The purchase agreement, which includes the WNBA's Lynx team, has been a subject of dispute between the buyers and Taylor, with Lore and Rodriguez acquiring stakes in the team in installments since 2021.
