Finland's Turn to the West.

Abstract

The article discusses the shift in Finnish foreign policy after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It also mentions how the invasion led to a change in public sentiment in favor of NATO membership, and how Finland had been moving closer to NATO and the West, but had been content to remain nonaligned. The article highlights the Finnish character of being part of Europe yet apart from it and acting as a broker between Russia and the West.
