Abstract

The article presents the discussion on enigmatic character of Gollum, a covetous and ancient creature introduced in J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy novel "The Hobbit," effects teams at Weta Digital and Weta Workshop in New Zealand which being responsible for bringing Gollum to life.
