Abstract
The article reviews recent performances at the Grange Festival in Hampshire, focusing on productions of Mozart’s *Così fan tutte*, Gluck’s *Orfeo ed Euridice* paired with Purcell’s *Dido and Aeneas*, and Tchaikovsky’s *The Queen of Spades*. Each production featured distinctive staging and strong vocal performances, with notable contributions from established artists such as Dame Josephine Barstow in *The Queen of Spades* and Heather Lowe in both *Orfeo ed Euridice* and *Dido and Aeneas*. The reviews highlight the effective use of sets, choreography, and orchestral direction, particularly praising the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and conductors Kirill Karabits, Harry Christophers, and Paul Daniel. The productions were recognized for their thoughtful interpretation of complex characters and narratives, combining traditional elements with contemporary staging.
