Abstract
This article focuses on a study examining the lived experiences of Korean second-generation atomic bomb survivors from Hiroshima and Nagasaki, exploring the transgenerational impacts of radiation exposure. Conducted by researchers at Chung-Ang University in Seoul, South Korea, the study involved interviews with 15 descendants and identified themes including persistent physical ailments, uncertainty about genetic health risks, family secrecy, and social stigma. The findings emphasize the need for psychological support and health monitoring strategies for this population.
