Abstract

The article presents an analysis of stories by F. Scott Fitzgerald that address the Depression directly and centrally. It mentions the narrator of the unfinished novel "The Love of the Last Tycoon," recalling the hardships she suffered from the Depression, the story "Babylon Revisited," wherein one character describes life as an American in Paris during the Depression, and the author's argument on Fitzgerald's minimal representation of the Depression.
