Abstract
Christopher Spencer, also known as Cold War Steve, draws inspiration from Dutch artists Hieronymus Bosch and Pieter Bruegel in his artwork. He creates digital collages that reflect a dark and satirical take on contemporary political figures and societal issues. Spencer aims to shine a light on the rapacity and subterfuge of those in power, highlighting themes of wealth and power inequality. He hopes to raise awareness and provoke thought through his artwork, particularly focusing on the rise of the far-right and the need for youth and diversity in government.
