Abstract

Hurricane Beryl has made landfall on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula after causing destruction in the Caribbean. The storm brought strong winds, heavy rain, and dangerous storm surge. Evacuations have been carried out in communities along the storm's path, and airports have suspended operations and canceled flights. Beryl is expected to weaken as it moves towards the southern Gulf of Mexico and the US state of Texas. [Extracted from the article]
