Abstract
White Desert is a luxury camp in Antarctica that offers visitors the opportunity to experience the remoteness and isolation of the polar plateau while enjoying gourmet meals and comfortable accommodations. The camp, founded by Patrick Woodhead, aims to minimize its impact on the environment and set best practices for sustainable tourism in Antarctica. White Desert brings visitors to the continent on a weekly flight from Cape Town, using sustainable aviation fuel and leaving no trace in its living quarters. The camp offers activities such as visiting the South Pole and the emperor penguin colony at Atka Bay, providing a breathtaking and humbling experience of Antarctica's raw beauty.
