Abstract

A fire at the Grand Kartal hotel in the Kartalkaya ski resort in Turkey resulted in the tragic deaths of 66 individuals and left 51 others injured. The blaze started on the restaurant floor of the 12-story hotel and quickly spread throughout the building, making it challenging to control due to its location on a steep slope. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has promised a thorough inquiry to hold those responsible accountable. [Extracted from the article]
