Abstract

The article focuses on the political coalition formed by left-wing Prime Minister David Lloyd George with right-wing Unionists between 1918 and 1922 in Great Britain. Topics include the significance of Unionist support in sustaining Lloyd George's government; the importance of the coalition in shaping Britain's post-war reconstruction; the eventual collapse of the partnership; and marking the end of a unique political alliance between left and right-wing factions.
