Abstract
This article focuses on Literary Safari, a New York City–based company founded in 2008 by Sandhya Nankani that has evolved from an educational publishing vendor into a boutique full-service children's media agency, creative studio, and independent publisher. Literary Safari offers strategic consulting, content development, and curriculum design for major educational and entertainment clients, including Benchmark Education, McGraw Hill Education, Scholastic, Sesame Workshop, and UNESCO. In 2021, the company launched Literary Safari Publishing, an imprint dedicated to producing inclusive children's books that combine trade and educational publishing models, distributing titles through both traditional and print-on-demand methods.
