Abstract

This article focuses on a study examining handcrafted milk tea consumption among Chinese college students in Chongqing, People's Republic of China, and its associations with unhealthy lifestyle behaviors and sensation seeking. The research found that 75.2% of surveyed students consumed handcrafted milk tea, with 7.0% engaging in excessive consumption, which correlated positively with factors such as carbonated beverage intake, dessert and fried food consumption, insufficient physical activity, alcohol use, and high sensation seeking. The study suggests that handcrafted milk tea consumption clusters with multiple unhealthy behaviors and recommends that universities implement targeted educational programs to promote rational consumption. The findings provide empirical evidence for health education related to handcrafted milk tea among college students. [Extracted from the article]
