Abstract
The article discusses the authorship of Christopher Marlowe's play "Doctor Faustus," suggesting that Marlowe wrote the serious parts while a collaborator handled the comic scenes. Possible collaborators include Thomas Nashe and Henry Porter. The analysis of linguistic patterns and shared phrases between "Doctor Faustus" and other plays supports the argument that Porter is a more likely co-author than Nashe. The study uses statistical data and qualitative evidence to make a case for Porter's involvement in the play. [Extracted from the article]
